The Thompson Rivers University WolfPack men’s volleyball team have had a lot of memorable year end parties. But the one to put the capper on the 2015-16 season was one for the books. The team went to ‘Ruebin’s Diner’ on the Kamloops North Shore on Thursday, March 31st.
WolfPack middle Doug Groenendijk (2nd year, Westholme, BC) tried the ‘Rubinator” sandwich challenge. He ate the seven pound meat (10 pound in total) sandwich in an hour becoming the third person ever to achieve the feat. Here are pictures courtesy of Assistant Coach Matt Krueger.
